Hyderabad, Feb 2: Senior IAS officer Ajay Mishra appeared before the CBI authorities on Thursday, in connection with Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy's illegal assets case.

Ajay Mishra worked in Revenue, Irrigation, Infrastructure and Investment departments. The allegation against the officer was that he bent the rules illogically, to give permission to some of the

companies of Jagan.

Ajay Mishra, who is presently working as Principal Secretary in the GAD has appeared as a witness to give clarifications on some of the issues raised by the CBI, said sources.
