Congress will sweep by-polls: Gandra
 
Warangal, Feb, 19: Government Chief Whip Gandra Venkataramana Reddy here on Sunday exuded confidence that the ruling Congress party would sweep the ensuing by-elections in the State including the Telangana region. 

Venkataramana Reddy, who visited his home district for the first time after becoming Government Chief Whip, was given a tumultuous welcome by a large number of his party leaders in Jangaon. 

Speaking on the occasion, the Government Chief Whip said that discussions were going on with regard to the selection of party candidate for Station Ghanapur Assembly constituency. He also disclosed that the talks on the issue would continue on Monday in the presence of Chief Minister Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy, who would take a final decision.
