Hyderabad, Feb 5: Taking a serious exception to the CPM’s failure to discuss the burning Telangana issue at its State-level meeting held for three days in Khammam, TRS senior leader T Harish Rao has said that the CPM, which has a single MLA in its kitty, will be out of sight in the near future if it failed to change its attitude on Telangana.
Addressing slum-dwellers of Paloncha of Khammam district in Telangana Bhavan here on Sunday, Harish Rao said that everyone expected that the CPM would reveal its stand on Telangana issue as its national leaders attended the meetings. He said that the CPM showed its apathy towards Telangana issue as none of the leaders spoke on the burning issue even as hundreds of students committed suicides for separate State.
Ridiculing the reappointment of B V Raghavulu as CPM State secretary once again, the TRS leader lamented that during its 25-year history, the CPI-M never appointed a leader from Telangana region as its State secretary.
