Warangal, Feb 2: It is a tradition for AP State Government to present 'Pattu Saree' to the dieties of Sammakka-Saarakka on the occasion of Medaram Jatara. State's new Endowements Minister C.Ramachandriah of the merged PRP of Megastar Chiranjeevi,while following the traditional ritual,dropped the sacred sarees on the ground while carrying them to the diety. Many view this as bad omen.
Devotees say that one shouldn't drop the offerings for diety, and unwanted drop of offerings from State Govt may spell death knell. People are keeping their fingers crossed as to what untoward incidents already belagured state of AP will witness and whose bad time is about to start. Whether it is CM Kiran Kumar Reddy's Congress Govt or Endowment minister C.Ramachandraiah ministry?
