Vemulawada (Karimnagar), Feb 20: TRS leader in the Assembly Etela Rajendar and Sircilla MLA K. Tarala Ramarao on Monday appealed to the State government to come to the rescue of Telangana people working in the Gulf countries. 

After offering prayers at the Sri Rajarajeswaraswamy temple here on Monday, Rajendar demanded that the State government set up a Cabinet sub-committee like the neighboring Kerala State on Gulf Affairs. He called upon the people of the region to protect Telangana self-respect in the ensuing by by-election in the region. He also demanded that the State government allocate funds for Manoharabad-Kothapally Railway line immediately.
