Hyderabad Jan 27: The YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has been touring the length breadth of the state, to console the families of those where a member died by committing suicide or of shock on hearing about the tragic death of his father Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy in a helicopter crash, two years ago.
Rajya Sabha member V Hanumanta Rao who is a staunch opponent of YSR and his son, has sarcastically said that Jagan has still not completed his 'Odarpu Yatra' (consolation tour) even after 2 years of his father’s death. He said the tour really deserved to be included in the Guinness records.
Hanumanta Rao has said no Chief Minister’s son has earned as much as Jagan. Referring to the talk of Jagan about becoming Chief Minister, VH said if he really became the CM, he would even sell off Charminar, the historic monument of Hyderabad. On Jagan’s statement that the government should better shoot him dead, instead of harassing, VH said it was only for gaining public sympathy that he was making such statements.
He said if the Congress High Command permitted, he would tour the entire state and campaign about the corruption of Jagan. He has challenged the YSR Congress chief to face the CBI probe, if he had guts. Referring to the threats of Jagan’s followers that there would be a deluge if the government touched him, he said no one could be cowed down by such threats.
