Jagga to contest on united AP plank
Vijayawada, Dec 24: Government Whip in the Assembly and Sangareddy MLA Toorpu Jayaprakash Reddy has raised a doubt why separate Telangana State was not created even though the movement was going on for the last 50 years.

Speaking to the media here on Monday, Jagga Reddy said the leaders were shining in the name of Telangana movement. He also felt that the people of Telangana region were losing heavily with the ongoing movement. He also questioned the TRS as to why it was not accosting the MIM, which was stoutly opposing separate Telangana State.

Jagga Reddy said he would contest in the general elections on flank of Samaikyandhra and made it clear that he would quit politics if he fails to win the election. He said revival of Telangana Regional Board and Rs 10,000-crore package was enough rather than separate Telangana State. He said the Telangana region will be developed if the State government completed the Pranahita-Chevella project.
