Motkupalli to perform ‘Chandi Yagam’ to rid KCR

Hyderabad, Feb 22: TDP senior leader and MLA Motkupalli Narasimhulu has announced that he would perform ‘Chandi Yagam’ to rid Telangana of the “pest” (peeda) called  K Chandrasekhara Rao.

Talking to the media at the Media point in the Assembly today, he said he would soon announce the date for the Yagam.

Chandi Yaga has been the monopoly of KCR so far. He has performed this Yaga even recently for achieving Telangana. Now Motkupalli wants to pay him in his own coin.

Narasimhulu has alleged that it was because of KCR that  700 youth and students lost their lives. Still no one in his family died, he said adding that they were steering themselves clear of trouble, while pushing innocent students into it. Stating that KCR was the main stumbling block for Telangana, Motkupalli said this was the reason he was performing ‘Chandi Yagam. He said the Yagam would be in Hyderabad and he was searching for a suitable place for performing it.

JC supports Motkupalli's 'Yagam'

After talking to the media, Motkupalli met Congress senior leader and former minister J C Diwakar Reddy near the media point and explained to him about the Yagam. JC has extended his support for the Yagam. When Motkupalli has asked JC about the collusion between Congress and TRS, JC denied there was any such collusion. He has however admitted that his party was displaying helplessness in suspending the TRS members though they were every day stalling the proceedings of the Assembly.
