TDP demands tabling of ACB report on liquor raids

Hyderabad, Feb 22: The Telugu Desam moved an adjournment motion in the State Assembly on Wednesday demanding the government to table in the House the report of the ACB raids on liquor syndicates all over the state recently.

The Speaker Mr. Nadendla Manohar however disallowed the adjournment motion along with other 5 adjournment motions moved on various issues by the TRS, BJP and the two Left parties.

When the Speaker permitted the Finance Minister to respond to the motion moved by the MIM members and answered accordingly on behalf of the government, the TDP also wanted a similar response from the government to their demand.

The Deputy Leader of TDP Mr. Ashok Gajapathi Raju was quick on his feet demanding a response from the government to their adjournment motion as was done in the case of MIM. The Speaker assured that the government would respond accordingly at an appropriate time.
