TRS: CBN, Lagadapati released Maoist fake letter

Hyderabad, Jan 27: Telangana Rashtra Samiti has alleged that it was as a part of conspiracy to defame party leaders that a letter was released by the Maoist party to media criticizing the TRS president K. Chandrasekhara Rao, Telangana Political JAC Chairman Kodandaram and Telangana Employees Association chairman Swamy Goud.

TRS Politburo Member Jagadeshwar Reddy said that Telugu Desam Party president Chandrababu Naidu, Vijayawada Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal and some police officials, who were opposing separate Telangana State, jointly released the letter in the name of the Maoist Party.

He has alleged that parties opposed to the Telangana state were conspiring against TRS and JAC leaders to confuse the people of the region and create an impression that Maoists were opposed to them. He said this was to scuttle intensification of the agitation, which they were planning soon. He has alleged that the powers opposed to Telangana were playing such tricks to hoodwink the people.
