BJP: Babu - Jagan - Pawan

“Hypocrisy is the compliment a politician pays to the truth by trying to look like it.”

In the present political theatre surrounding the Women’s Reservation Bill, this means one thing: when leaders who have ignored regional interests for years suddenly pose as champions of empowerment, they are admitting that "virtue" is a necessary disguise.

Wake up, Andhra! Rub the sleep from your eyes and shake off the hangover from last night’s 'affordable' state-sponsored spirits. It's time to sober up and see the real bill being footed while you were celebrating.

Witness the spectacular political acrobatics of Andhra’s "Big Three": Chandrababu Naidu, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, and Pawan Kalyan. In a rare display of fraternity, they have finally agreed on something that the best way to "protect" Andhra is to let its political power be diluted faster than a roadside chai in a monsoon.

The trio is busy selling the "Women’s Reservation" dream, a shiny gift-wrapped box they swear contains empowerment. The fine print they refuse to read? It’s a Delimitation time bomb. The message to South India is simple: “Thank you for being the nation’s engine; now please move to the back of the bus while the North takes the wheel.”

Chandrababu Naidu, the man who once claimed to have invented the computer, seems to have lost his "Save" file on South Indian interests. Despite previously tweeting that linking seats to population would be an "injustice," he has pivoted to a new "visionary" stance. In his 'Real-Time Governance' universe, the "gospel truth" has the shelf life of a smartphone battery—obsolete the moment a newer model of political convenience drops.

Not to be outdone, Jagan and Pawan are nodding along like dashboard ornaments, terrified that questioning the Delimitation clause might result in a stern look from the "Apara Chanakyas" in Delhi. They’ve transformed from "Special Status" warriors to "Special Silence" specialists.

The logic is simple: Don’t worry about the North gaining total control of the House; just focus on the 33% reservation! They shout for empowerment while blaming the opposition for "defeating the nation," yet remain silent on a simpler solution: why not implement the 33% reservation within the current 543 seats right now? Because that would require a backbone, and currently, all three are competing for the "Most Obedient Ally" trophy.

It’s touching to see them championing women’s rights on TV while the candidate lists of their respective parties remain a "Who’s Who" of brothers, sons-in-law, and local strongmen. In Andhra, "Women’s Empowerment" usually means giving a ticket to a leader’s wife or daughter because the leader himself is busy with a court date.

Between Jagan’s sibling rivalry over the family fortune and Pawan’s convenient silence on his team's 'extracurricular' scandals, this sudden crusade is pure theatre. It’s like a cat finishing off a thousand rats and then donning a pilgrim’s robe for a trip to Mecca.

As the North-South divide widens, the push to expand Parliament continues. If the current Parliament has already mastered the art of failing to deliver on promises, why do we need a bigger building for it? Is the goal "National Progress," or just ensuring enough legroom for the North to dictate terms to the South?

While the "Big Three" accuse others of "misleading" the South, they forget that while they chase verbal assurances from Delhi, the South is being invited to its own political funeral.

Hypocrisy is just the tax a politician pays to look respectable. By draping themselves in this Bill, the trio is admitting that 'protecting women' is a great brand to wear, even if the suit doesn't quite fit.
