Hyderabad Police has registered another case against BRS leaders for allegedly abusing women police officers on Monday at the Telangana Assembly building entrance.

The case has been registered at Saifabad Police Station against Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao, BRS Deputy Leader in Telangana Assembly T. Harish Rao and several other party legislators for allegedly obstructing women police personnel from discharging their duties, using abusive language and threatening them.

The case has been registered in connection with the incidents that occurred at Gate Number 3 on Monday when police had stopped BRS legislators from attending the Assembly for wearing black T-shirts with slogans.

She stated that due to the incident, she, along with SI Triveni and women Constables Rashmi Yadav and Soumya, suffered physical and mental distress and were admitted to Gleneagles Hospital for treatment.
