'Dharman' wraps third schedule

Rajinikanth’s much-awaited action drama ‘Dharman’ has reached another important milestone, with director Ashwath Marimuthu confirming that the film’s third schedule has been successfully wrapped. The filmmaker shared the update on social media, marking the completion of another phase in the production of the highly anticipated project. The latest schedule began on September 16 and included portions featuring Rajinikanth alongside Raashii Khanna, while Telugu actor Ram Pothineni was also spotted with the team during the Mysuru leg of the shoot.

The Mysuru schedule had generated considerable attention after Raashii Khanna shared a series of pictures from her time with Rajinikanth and Ram Pothineni. Giving fans a glimpse into their off-screen camaraderie, the actress revealed that the schedule involved early-morning workouts, temple visits, casual outings, games of UNO and plenty of laughter. She also shared her love for Mysuru dosa, adding a personal touch to the behind-the-scenes glimpse. Earlier, Ashwath Marimuthu had praised Rajinikanth’s energy and work ethic, saying the superstar remains extremely enthusiastic about filmmaking even after five decades in the industry.

The third schedule follows the completion of the film’s second phase earlier this month. Produced by Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran, ‘Dharman’ features Rajinikanth in the role of a doctor who takes on criminals, promising a blend of action and drama. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, while Niketh Bommi handles cinematography and Pradeep E Raghav is in charge of editing. The film has already created significant curiosity with its first-look material, which showcased Rajinikanth in a striking doctor avatar, and the completion of yet another schedule is expected to further build anticipation around the project.
