VH Appointed as BC Welfare Adviser

In a significant development, the Telangana government has appointed V Hanumantha Rao, a former MP and senior Congress leader, as an adviser for the development of the BC welfare department.

This appointment comes with the status of a minister of state, as per official orders issued by the government. As part of this role, Rao will receive a monthly salary of Rs1,00,000, along with provisions for house rent allowance, conveyance allowance, and fuel expenses. Additionally, he will be entitled to reimbursement of medical expenses on par with All India Services officers and ministers.

The government will allocate special staff for the management of activities related to the BC welfare development advisory role. The total expenditure related to this appointment will be covered by the regular budget of the BC welfare department, as per the orders issued by the chief secretary to the government, K Ramakrishna Rao.
