Iran to Prioritize Care for Indian Nationals

Iran's Representative in India, Abdul Majid Hakeem Ilahi, expressed his commitment to prioritizing the well-being of Indian citizens. He emphasized that Iran had worked closely with the Indian embassy in Tehran to support students and visitors during heightened conflict. Additionally, Iran and the United States are scheduled to engage in direct talks in Islamabad, Pakistan, aiming to alleviate recent hostilities.

Meanwhile, the Delhi High Court addressed certain tweets by journalist Rana Ayyub, deeming them derogatory, inflammatory, and communal. In response to the recent ceasefire between the United States and Iran, India's Ministry of External Affairs expressed hope for lasting peace in West Asia. The ceasefire announcement led to a significant drop in crude oil prices and a rally in global markets, resulting in a sharp rise in India's equity benchmark indices.

Furthermore, Russia's Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, asserted that the United States and Israel's aggressive attack on Iran resulted in a resounding defeat. Telcos are anticipated to face challenges due to rising smartphone prices and the transition of subscribers in the Indian market. Lastly, Israeli Opposition leader described the Iran ceasefire as a political disaster. These developments underscore the significance of international relations and their impact on various sectors.
