Kajal: No Price for My Personality

Kajal: No Price for My Personality

Actress Kajal Aggarwal has once again made headlines by speaking openly about the choices she has made throughout her film career. Amid ongoing debates about glamorous roles, bold scenes, and the expectations placed on actresses after marriage, Kajal said she has always stayed true to her personal beliefs. While promoting her upcoming film The India Story, she revealed that she has never been comfortable performing bikini or overly bold scenes on screen. According to the actress, she even turned down several big-budget films because those roles did not align with her values. She emphasized that fame or financial success should never come at the cost of compromising one's identity.

Kajal explained that she has always believed in maintaining clear personal boundaries, regardless of the opportunities that came her way. She stated that she cannot change her personality simply for movies or money, adding that every individual has principles they should stand by. In her opinion, bold scenes are not essential to prove acting ability or make a film successful. She believes audiences connect more with honest performances and meaningful storytelling than with unnecessary glamour, and that philosophy has guided her career from the very beginning.

The actress also shared how motherhood has influenced her decisions even further. Kajal said she now chooses scripts with greater care because she wants her son, Neil Kitchlu, to watch her films with pride when he grows up. She hopes to avoid taking up roles that could make him uncomfortable or require difficult explanations in the future. As discussions around actresses and glamorous roles continue on social media, Kajal's comments have once again sparked mixed reactions online. Meanwhile, she is preparing for the release of The India Story on July 24 and is also set to entertain Telugu audiences opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna in director Gopichand Malineni's upcoming film, tentatively titled NBK111.
