Peddi Storms Into Profit Zone

Ram Charan’s sports action drama Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is maintaining a strong run at the box office and continues to emerge as one of the biggest successes of the year. Released worldwide on June 4, the film opened to positive word-of-mouth and impressive collections across domestic and overseas markets. While the numbers witnessed a natural slowdown during weekdays after a blockbuster first week, the film regained momentum during its second weekend. According to trade estimates, Peddi delivered another solid performance on its 11th day, collecting around ₹9.20 crore net across India through more than 4,100 shows. With this, the film’s domestic tally has reportedly crossed ₹216 crore net and ₹256 crore gross within just 11 days.

The film has also been performing exceptionally well in international markets, where it has generated significant revenue. Trade reports suggest that Peddi has grossed nearly ₹51.75 crore overseas so far, taking its worldwide gross collection close to ₹308 crore. Meanwhile, the makers have claimed that the film’s overall worldwide earnings have already touched the ₹393 crore mark. The Telugu states continue to be the backbone of the film’s success, contributing an estimated ₹195 crore gross. Strong occupancy levels in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, coupled with repeat audience interest, have played a major role in sustaining the film’s box-office dominance well into its second week.

Apart from the Telugu market, Peddi has registered respectable collections in other regions as well. Karnataka has emerged as the strongest contributor outside the home market, while Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and other parts of India have also added healthy numbers. In terms of theatrical share, the film has already generated over ₹147 crore from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone, with the Nizam region leading the chart. Several key territories have reportedly achieved breakeven status, putting the film firmly in the profit zone for distributors. With the second weekend injecting fresh energy into its theatrical run, Peddi is now eyeing bigger milestones and could eventually finish as one of the highest-grossing films of Ram Charan’s career. Industry observers believe the film still has enough momentum to continue its winning streak in the coming days.
