Prabhas Picks a Brutal Action Master?

Prabhas is already juggling a packed lineup of high-profile projects, but a new collaboration is reportedly creating fresh buzz. After The Raja Saab failed to meet expectations despite a strong opening, the pan-India star is now focused on Fauji and Spirit. He also has Salaar 2 with Prashanth Neel and Kalki 2 with Nag Ashwin in the pipeline. Amid this busy schedule, reports suggest that Prabhas may have shown interest in another action-packed project with a filmmaker known for delivering intense, raw cinema.

The director being linked to Prabhas is Hanif Adeni, who recently grabbed attention with Marco, starring Unni Mukundan. The Malayalam action thriller became a surprise blockbuster, with its brutally intense action sequences becoming one of its biggest talking points. Unni Mukundan, who had previously appeared in supporting roles in Telugu films such as Janatha Garage and Bhaagamathie, took on a full-fledged lead role and delivered a performance that resonated strongly with younger audiences. Hanif’s ability to create gritty and uncompromising action has now reportedly caught Prabhas’ attention.

According to industry buzz, Hanif has narrated a powerful storyline to Prabhas, and the actor is said to have responded positively to the concept. The project is reportedly being planned on a large scale, with producer Dil Raju said to be backing the film and aiming for international-level production values. However, there is no official confirmation yet from Prabhas, Hanif Adeni or the production house. If the project materialises, it could mark a striking combination of Prabhas’ larger-than-life image and Hanif’s raw action style, with a possible 2028 launch and 2029 release being discussed.
