Rajini’s Autobiography in 2 Languages?

Seven-time National Award-winning Tamil lyricist Vairamuthu has revealed that superstar Rajinikanth’s much-awaited autobiography is currently in the works and could be released in both Tamil and English. Sharing details of his recent meeting with the actor on X, Vairamuthu said he had met Rajinikanth to convey his wishes ahead of the release of his upcoming film Jailer 2. During their conversation, the two discussed art and life, while deliberately staying away from politics. Vairamuthu said he asked Rajinikanth when his autobiography would be published, to which the superstar reportedly replied that work was underway and the book would be released soon.

Recalling their conversation, Vairamuthu said he told Rajinikanth that readers were eagerly waiting for his life story. When the actor asked why, the lyricist explained that many people had a history to share, but Rajinikanth also possessed a unique charisma that made his journey particularly fascinating. Vairamuthu further indicated that the superstar had suggested the autobiography might initially be made available in both Tamil and English, potentially allowing a wider audience to learn about his personal and professional journey. Although details about the book’s publication schedule and contents remain unknown, the revelation has added to the anticipation surrounding a memoir that could offer insights into Rajinikanth’s rise, experiences and decades-long career in Indian cinema.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is generating considerable excitement among fans ahead of its scheduled theatrical release on October 15, as stated in the source report. The action entertainer has received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification, while its trailer has heightened curiosity about the story and its characters. The trailer shows Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, played by Rajinikanth, keeping a low profile under a disguise while attempting to uncover the hierarchy behind his enemies. Featuring actors including Suraj Venjaramoodu, S. J. Suryah and Vidya Balan, the film promises action, suspense and sharp exchanges. The makers had announced in April that filming had been completed, and expectations have continued to build around the sequel.
