Rakul's 'Jaya ..' YouTube's Most-Watched Film

Actress Rakul Preet Singh has expressed her gratitude after her 2017 Telugu blockbuster Jaya Janaki Nayaka achieved the milestone of becoming the highest-watched Indian film on YouTube. Calling the achievement "special," Rakul shared that the character of Janaki remains one of the most memorable roles of her career and thanked audiences for their continued love and support.

Directed by Boyapati Srinu, the romantic action drama starred Bellamkonda Sreenivas alongside Rakul Preet Singh and featured a strong supporting cast including Jagapathi Babu, Pragya Jaiswal, Sarath Kumar, and Tarun Arora. Released in August 2017, the film's music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

Meanwhile, Rakul is gearing up for one of the biggest projects of her career as she steps into the role of Surpanakha in Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The highly anticipated epic stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana.
