Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) has once again showcased its exceptional expertise by clinching the first prize in the underground mines rescue category at the International Mines Rescue Competitions held in Zambia. Competing against rescue teams from various countries, including India, China, Colombia, Zambia, Canada, Australia, and Poland, the Singareni team demonstrated outstanding skill and professionalism.

This victory reaffirms SCCL's capability and strength in mine rescue operations on the global stage. Notably, after nearly two decades, SCCL has delivered an exceptional performance at the international level. The competitions, held from April 30 to May 5, 2026, assessed teams on firefighting, rescue operations, and technical support, with the Singareni team excelling in all areas to secure the top position.

This achievement highlights SCCL's commitment to excellence and dedication to ensuring safety and preparedness in underground mining operations.
