Smriti Mandhana’s Ex in Legal Trouble Again

Singer Palash Muchhal has landed in controversy following allegations of casteist remarks and a financial dispute. The complaint was filed by Vigyan Prakash Mane, reportedly a childhood friend of cricketer Smriti Mandhana. The incident is said to have taken place during an argument at a toll plaza on the Sangli–Ashta road on November 22.

Authorities have registered a case under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, along with relevant IPC sections, and an investigation is currently underway. Reports suggest the dispute also involves a financial transaction, with Muchhal allegedly borrowing ₹25 lakh from Mane for a film production project.

The controversy has also brought renewed attention to Muchhal’s past engagement with Smriti Mandhana. The couple had earlier confirmed their split on social media after wedding plans in Sangli were called off, though the reasons for their breakup were never publicly disclosed.
