The actor returns to his familiar territory of vintage-style comedy, backed by the film’s 1990s setting and his trademark timing. Playing an ordinary theatre owner trapped in a Naxalite gang, he carries much of the film on his shoulders with witty one-liners, self-deprecating humour and spontaneous comic reactions."},{"text":"His ability to generate laughs while maintaining an innocent, seemingly helpless persona works particularly well. Sri Vishnu displays impressive comic timing in several sequences, making even routine situations entertaining. His performance provides the film with much-needed energy, especially when the narrative struggles to maintain momentum."},{"text":"Comedian Satya once again proves his worth, sharing good comic chemistry with Sri Vishnu. His screen presence and humorous exchanges add to the entertainment quotient. Vennela Kishore also manages to make an impression with his limited screen time. Mahima Nambiar’s Sitara has significance in the storyline, but the screenplay does not give her character enough presence or depth to make a lasting impact. Radhika’s role also offers little scope for discussion.
