Overwhelmed by the outpouring of love he witnessed on the occasion of this birthday on Sunday, Telugu star Teja Sajja on Monday penned a note of gratitude to his fans, friends and family for the love, support and blessings of everyone that had brought him this far.
Taking to his social media timelines to pen his thoughts on the phenomenal amount of love that had been showered on him by way of messages, greetings and posts on socila media, Teja Sajja wrote, "As far as I can remember, I’ve never really celebrated my birthdays. I always felt that I hadn’t achieved anything worth celebrating yet in life."
The star, who has delivered two blockbusters back to back, further said, "Birthdays have usually been a time for me to reflect on my journey, but yesterday, for the first time, I truly felt — from where we started to where we are today, we have come a very, very long way."
He said, "I’m incredibly grateful and happy for everyone’s love, support, and blessings that have brought me this far."
In particular, the actor thanked his directors and producers. He wrote, "A very special thanks to all my directors and producers who have been such an important part of this journey. I’m always aware that whatever I have achieved has only been possible because of the support and love of the audience and the blessings of God.
Hopefully, someday, I will celebrate when we achieve something that creates real change, makes an impact, and is truly meaningful and helpful to society. There is still a very long way to go. Big dreams ahead."
For the unaware, the makers of the actor's next film chose to announce the film's title on the occasion of his birthday on Sunday. They announced the film's title as 'Zombie Reddy2 NXT LVL- Dead Or Alive' and said that the film was slated to hit screens next year in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Nepali and Japanese.
Superhero Teja Sajja, who has delivered two sensational blockbusters with HanuMan and Mirai, returns as the lead in this second instalment of the Zombie franchise.
Director Prasanth Varma, who introduced the zombie genre to Telugu cinema with 'Zombie Reddy', has now taken on the role of a creator for the sequel, with Suparn S Varma directing the upcoming film.
The new-age zombie entertainer is being mounted on a massive scale by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the People Media Factory banner. This marks the second collaboration between Teja Sajja and PMF, after the Pan India blockbuster 'Mirai'. Real Star Upendra plays a prominent role, while Bollywood actress Shanaya Kapoor makes her Telugu debut with the movie.
The project also boasts an impressive technical crew. Gowra Hari, who previously collaborated with Teja Sajja on 'HanuMan' and 'Mirai', is to score the music for this film as well. Abhinandan Ramanujam will be behind the camera for this film, which will have Banglam as its production designer and Vijay Velukutty as its editor. Hussain Dalal, Abbas Dalal, Prasanth Varma and Suparn S Varma have penned the screenplay, with Subbu K writing the dialogues.
