Vijay Hears ‘I Love You’ 20 Times Daily

In a candid revelation, actress Rashmika Mandanna shared insights into her relationship with fellow actor Vijay Deverakonda, emphasizing the critical role of communication in nurturing love. As the couple prepares for the release of their upcoming film 'Ranabaali' on October 16, Mandanna disclosed that she expresses her affection by telling Deverakonda 'I love you' between 15 to 20 times each day. This frequency, she argues, is vital in ensuring that love does not become an assumption in a marriage, but rather a continual affirmation of their bond.

During a recent podcast with Shubhankar Mishra, Mandanna articulated her belief that the passage of time can lead couples to overlook the simple yet profound expressions of love. She noted that after marriage, many individuals might neglect the emotional nuances that initially characterized their relationships. "I feel that after marriage, we tend to forget about the little things, and expressing love becomes secondary," she stated, underscoring the importance of maintaining a vibrant dialogue in their partnership.

Mandanna's reflections on love extend beyond mere declarations; they touch upon fundamental relationship dynamics that often falter in long-term commitments. In another discussion on a podcast hosted by Prakhar Gupta, Mandanna remarked on the need for couples to make conscious efforts to sustain their connection. She posited that while love should flow naturally, it also requires intentional actions that keep the relationship dynamic and engaged. "We human beings always need to keep making efforts for those people we love," she said, pointing out that often, individuals expend considerable energy on acquaintances while neglecting their loved ones at home.

Furthermore, Mandanna highlighted how simple gestures, such as greetings and inquiries about each other's day, can significantly enhance marital satisfaction. She observed that couples frequently stop expressing basic courtesies, assuming their partner already knows their feelings. "I keep thinking that very soon after you get married, some very basic things you stop telling each other," she explained, advocating for the importance of sustaining these small yet meaningful interactions as essential components of a thriving relationship. Since marrying Deverakonda on February 26, 2026, in a private ceremony in Udaipur, Mandanna’s emphasis on communication serves as a testament to her commitment to fostering an enduring and affectionate partnership.
