What’s Brewing Between BJP and Chiru?

President of the BJP's Telangana unit, N. Ramchander Rao, called on eminent actor Chiranjeevi here on Monday and presented him with a booklet highlighting the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government over the last 12 years.

The BJP leader stated that, on the completion of 12 years of Vikas, Vishwas aur Jan Kalyan under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, he met megastar and Padma Vibhushan awardee Chiranjeevi at his residence in Hyderabad.

Ramchander Rao said he presented the actor with a booklet highlighting the key achievements and milestones of the Modi government over the last 12 years.

He said they also had an enriching discussion on films and nation-building.

The state BJP chief said that Prime Minister Modi's “Seva Kaal” would be written in golden letters in India's history.

The meeting was part of the Vishesh Jan Sampark Abhiyan, or special public outreach campaign.

Ramchander Rao explained PM Modi-led government's commitment to development, good governance and public welfare.

Telangana BJP General Secretary T. Veerender Goud and state secretaries Bharath Prasad and Bandaru Vijayalaxmi also participated in the meeting.

As part of the Vishesh Jan Sampark Abhiyan marking the completion of 12 years of PM Modi-led government, Ramchander Rao also met Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman B.R. Naidu.

The BJP leader presented him with a booklet highlighting the achievements of PM Modi government over the last 12 years.

He stated that, guided by the spirit of "Nation First", Prime Minister Modi has led India on a transformative journey of development and governance.

On Sunday, Ramchander Rao wrote an open letter to Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, seeking an appointment with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to demand that he fulfil the promises made to the people of Telangana.

He alleged that the Congress government has miserably failed to deliver on its promises.

The state BJP president said that if the Chief Minister fails to respond and facilitate the appointment, it would confirm the Congress party's great betrayal of Telangana and its people.
