Why Is Everyone Talking About ‘Toxic’?
Yash’s upcoming pan-India film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has become one of the most anticipated releases of the year, and the buzz surrounding it continues to grow. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is scheduled for a worldwide release on August 26. Ever since its teaser, promotional videos, and songs were unveiled, audiences have been intrigued by its bold visuals and mature storytelling. Adding to the excitement, producer K. Venkata Narayana recently shared fresh insights about the project, describing it as a film unlike anything audiences have seen from the production house before.
According to the producer, Toxic is far from a routine commercial entertainer. He revealed that the film presents a completely unique narrative and has been crafted to deliver a cinematic experience that will stay with viewers long after they leave the theatre. Stressing that it is a fictional story, he explained that the movie has been specifically designed for mature audiences, which is reflected in its title as well as its themes. He expressed confidence that audiences would appreciate the film's bold vision, emotional depth, action, and romance, and believes the team’s efforts will be widely praised once the film is released.
Meanwhile, the recently released romantic track 'Manasaagade' has become a major hit across social media platforms. Featuring Yash and Tara Sutaria, the song has won praise for its stunning visuals, soulful music, and the pair's on-screen chemistry. Tara herself appreciated the way the sequence was filmed, calling it a visually beautiful experience and applauding the creative team's work. Alongside Yash, the film boasts a star-studded cast including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth, Huma Qureshi, and Tara Sutaria. Mounted on a massive budget, Toxic is being prepared for a grand multilingual release across the globe, further raising expectations among movie lovers.
