Former T Cong. MP Alleges On-Stage Molestation

Former Trinamool Congress MP Mimi Chakraborty has accused event organizer Tanay Shastri of harassment during a public function in Bongaon. Chakraborty claims she was abruptly ordered off stage, leading to humiliation and distress. Following her complaint, West Bengal Police arrested Shastri and two accomplices for obstructing justice.

Chakraborty alleges the mistreatment stemmed from her refusal to visit Shastri’s home, unlike other guests. In response, Shastri dismissed the claims as false, asserting that the event was delayed due to her late arrival and insisting no ill-treatment occurred.
