'Nagabandham' Hits Gold at BO
Nagabandham: The Secret Treasure, starring Virat Karrna, has made an impressive mark at the box office, crossing the ₹12 crore mark worldwide after its opening weekend. Despite a slight decrease in the number of shows, the Telugu action-adventure drama maintained steady collections throughout its first three days in Indian cinemas. As it enters the crucial Monday, all eyes are on its performance during the weekdays.
According to box office tracking platform Sacnilk, the film collected ₹3.02 crore net in India on Day 3, bringing its total India net collection to ₹9.47 crore. In addition, the film's India gross collection stands at ₹11.06 crore, with overseas earnings reaching ₹1.25 crore, resulting in a worldwide gross collection of approximately ₹12.31 crore by the end of the opening weekend. Nagabandham: The Secret Treasure kicked off its box office journey with ₹3.40 crore net on Friday across 3,202 shows, followed by ₹3.05 crore net on Saturday from 2,924 shows. On Day 3 (Sunday), it earned ₹3.02 crore net across 1,904 shows. Despite the decline in the number of shows, the film saw an increase in occupancy on Sunday, reaching 27%.
The film's performance on Monday will be critical in determining its sustained momentum after the opening weekend. Directed by Abhishek Nama, Nagabandham: The Secret Treasure delves into the enigmatic world of India's ancient Vishnu temples and the ritual of Nagabandham, blending mythology, suspense, and adventure. Alongside Virat Karrna, the film features Nabha Natesh, Aishwarya Menon, Daksha Nagarkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Jagapathi Babu, and Murali Sharma in pivotal roles.
