Pawan’s Promise Beyond Politics
In a heartwarming gesture that touched many, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan personally visited the residence of his fan Niranjan in Hanamkonda, who has been battling a rare genetic disorder. Responding to the young fan’s wish to meet him, Pawan spent time with Niranjan and his family, inquiring about his health and offering words of encouragement. He also extended financial assistance of ₹1 lakh to help the family manage medical expenses, assuring them that they were not alone in their struggle.
During the emotional interaction, Niranjan shared a simple yet heartfelt wish with the actor-politician. Showing Pawan a toy puppy, he expressed his desire to own and care for a real dog someday. Touched by the request, Pawan immediately promised to arrange one for him. When Niranjan’s father mentioned that permission from their house owners would be required, Pawan personally asked to speak with the owners and discussed the matter himself. The small but meaningful gesture reflected his willingness to go beyond formalities and make the young boy’s dream a reality.
The visit, however, did not stop at emotional support. While interacting with Niranjan’s parents, Pawan learned that they had previously worked in the canteen of Kakatiya Hospital and were currently facing livelihood challenges. Determined to provide long-term assistance, he instructed Jana Sena leaders in Telangana to help establish a canteen for the family, enabling them to earn a stable income and become self-reliant. The initiative highlighted a more practical side of support—one that focuses not only on immediate relief but also on securing a sustainable future for the family. Several Jana Sena leaders accompanied Pawan during the visit, which has since drawn widespread appreciation for its compassionate and humane approach.
