Sharwanand’s ‘Bhogi’ Gears Up
The makers of Bhogi, starring Sharwanand, have kicked off a crucial shooting schedule at a specially erected set in Hyderabad. Directed by Sampath Nandi, this phase will see major talkie portions being filmed, further raising expectations around the high-octane action drama.
Set against the rugged North Telangana–Maharashtra border in the late 1960s, Bhogi promises a raw, blood-soaked narrative where power and survival rule the land. The film recreates a brutal rural world with striking authenticity, a tone already hinted at in the much-discussed First Spark teaser that showcased intense visuals and violent undertones. With Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead and Dimple Hayathi in a pivotal role, Bhogi marks Sharwanand’s first-ever pan-India film, slated for release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
