Actor Varun Konidela has found his latest escape — not in action sequences or dramatic monologues, but in the quiet rhythm of baking. In a new Instagram post, the Telugu star swapped film sets for a flour-dusted kitchen, proving that even heroes need a calming hobby.

In the picture, Varun is seen bent over a small cake, surrounded by bowls, flavours and frosting tools, completely absorbed in getting every swirl just right. With the kind of concentration usually reserved for intense film scenes, he captioned the moment perfectly: “Focus level: Baking a masterpiece.”

Fans, of course, loved this sweeter side of the actor, who made his debut with Mukunda and rose to prominence with memorable performances in Kanche, Fidaa, Tholi Prema, Gaddalakonda Ganesh, F2 and F3. He was last seen in Matka, Karuna Kumar’s gritty period thriller based on the legendary Matka king Ratan Khetri.

Off-screen, Varun’s life has been just as eventful — from his fairytale Tuscany wedding with actress Lavanya Tripathi in 2023 to welcoming their son Vaayuv Tej Konidela in 2025.

But today, it’s the kitchen that has his heart. And if this “masterpiece” is anything to go by, Varun Konidela might just be the newest star in Tollywood and the dessert world.
