CM Vijay Son's ‘Sigma’ Promises a High-Stakes Heist Ride

Betrayal, a ₹500-crore crime racket, a dangerous heist and a hero with something to prove! The trailer of Sigma, the much-awaited action entertainer marking Jason Sanjay’s directorial debut, has arrived — and it promises a stylish mix of action, adventure, comedy and emotion.

Starring Sundeep Kishan in the lead, Sigma revolves around a man who is betrayed and left with everything to lose. Instead of walking away, he decides to fight back and reclaim what was taken from him. The story takes him into a massive drugs-and-gambling racket worth ₹500 crore. With the help of his friends, he plans an ambitious heist, but their operation hits a major roadblock when Sampath Raj’s Reddy enters the picture. Faria Abdullah plays Sam, an RJ and the protagonist’s love interest, while the trailer also hints at an emotional mother-son angle beneath the high-energy crime story.

With stylish visuals from cinematographer Krishnan Vasant, music by S Thaman and editing by National Award winner K L Praveen, Sigma appears to be aiming for a full-fledged commercial entertainer. The film also features Raju Sundaram, Shiv Pandit, Anbu Thasan and Yog Japee in key roles. Produced by Lyca Productions, Sigma is scheduled to hit worldwide screens on October 2, 2026. Mythri Movie Distributors will handle the Coastal Andhra and Telangana release, while NVR Cinema will distribute the Ceded region.
